Antique Japanese Indigo BORO Textile – Patchwork Futon Cover
This is an authentic BORO (patched textile) from rural Japan, made by hand from indigo-dyed cotton and striped fabrics. Such textiles were 新品 from the late Edo to Meiji period (19th–early 20th century), embodying the philosophy of mottainai – repairing and reusing precious cloth over generations.
